The Canary Islands
Canary Islands archipelago is formed by 7 Islands and 5 islets. The main islands are Tenerife and Gran Canaria. The other ones are: Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, Gomera and Hierro. In Tenerife the Highest mountain in sapin (Teide) reach the 3.700 high meters. Long beaches of Fuerteventura are special place to pass some days. Lanzarote is a special Vulcanic place in the World. La Palma (The beatiful Island as it is named) has the famous Roque de los Muchachos with the Bigest telescope in the World. Gomera has a tertiary forest and Hierro is a special world that allocate lizards of a single species.

The Gran Canaria Island
Gran Canaria (in English, "Grand (or Great) Canary") is an island of the Canary Islands. Located in the Atlantic Ocean about 150 kilometers (~93 miles) off the northwestern coast of the Africa and about 1350 km (~838 miles) from Europe. Gran Canaria is the second most populated island of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife. Gran Canaria (the little continent as the Writer named it) is a multiclimate islands with forest, beaches, risks, mountains and warm people.
